Counselling & Psychotherapy
The service I currently offer is face-to-face & online individual therapy, which takes place at The Stephenson Centre in the town centre of Ipswich. I have experience in working with relationship issues, domestic and narcissistic abuse, anxiety, and issues related to anxiety, anger and depression. I am fully qualified and insured, and a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP No. 00966211). The fee for this service is £50 per hour, although concessions are available on a discretionary basis.
My Approach
Do you feel you are struggling in a relationship that is potentially toxic and abusive? Are you struggling with anxiety? Do you suffer from low mood or depression? If so, I aim to offer a space to explore these issues which is empathic, safe and trustworthy, with the aim of creating a space in which you feel safe enough to express difficult feelings and emotions. I also work relationally meaning that I will use the relationship that develops between us to help bring understanding to the difficulties you are facing in your life. This will hopefully enable you to develop a clearer head space to think, and to help you accept your anxieties and personal pain.

I am a qualified Integrative therapist, completing my degree at the University of Suffolk in (BA Hons) Integrative Counselling. I am also fully insured and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Working in an integrative way means that my approach to therapy, at it's core is relational. Meaning that I will use the relationship that develops between myself and the client to help bring understanding to the client's experience. It also means that I have a broad understanding of different theoretical approaches to therapy such as, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Existential approaches, which help him be in tune with the client’s individual needs.
